We pride ourselves on sourcing only the best products available and from suppliers who offer us support in marketing their products by regular visits and providing marketing material which in turn helps us offer the best service we can to you the customer.
We even use some of the products ourselves to see how they perform before offering them for sale.
Gallagher electric fencing
Gallagher electric fencing is quite probably the best range on the market. They make all of their products in New Zealand and distribute throughout the world by Gallagher specialists (Direct farm supplies is proud to be one).
we have used other brands such as Rutland fencing and Hotline on our own farm and found they don’t last for long and are quite expensive for what you get.
Nettex
Nettex manufacture quality animal health, nutrition and husbandry equipment for cattle, sheep, poultry and equestrian markets.
We have used most of the Nettex sheep care range and really wouldn’t use anything else.
Zintec animal nutrition
Zintec agri are now part of the Brinicombe group, they produce high quality mineral licks and supplements for cattle and sheep. We use these products on our own animals and can honestly say they are some of the best available. We have used a cheaper brand (Dallas Keith) and the sheep in particular won’t go near them, put a Zintec bucket (or Rumenco block) in front of them and they can’t get enough of them.
